Our editorial team has decided to pause submissions for now. We’ve chosen the word “pause” instead of “close” because we do plan to open them again.
Honestly, we should have paused them a while ago. In the interest of transparency, we’ve struggled to find our footing as a small press. We’re still committed to our grand vision of becoming the premier publisher of speculative erotica, from drabbles to novels and everything in between. That hasn’t changed. We’ve just run up against the harsh reality that we lack experience in publishing. We’re confident we can gain that experience, but we don’t want to use authors as guinea pigs while we figure things out.
We’re developing a new business strategy that we’ll unveil soon. In the meantime, please rest assured that Rock Hard Press is not going anywhere.
